Blackburn’s allowed 86 hits in 71.2 innings but he’s got a nice ERA.  He has good control and so far has kept the ball in the park, so his FIP is a respectable 3.34.  According to Fangraphs he averages around 91 mph with his fastball and also features a slider, cutter, curve, and change.

We all know how Rasner’s been doing.  Let’s hope it continues.

Update: Mark Feinsand is reporting that Scott Patterson’s on his way to the Yanks (hat tip to Peter Abraham).  Morgan Ensberg has been designated for assignment to make room for him.
