Newsday - O’Brien: Chamberlain back today, will work out of bullpen

DETROIT - Joba Chamberlain will be back on the Yankees’ active roster today, and back in their bullpen.

Why?  Shouldn’t the goal be to get his innings up so he can start next year?  All this does is give the mouth-breathers who want Joba to stay in the pen more fuel for their insipid fires.  So what if he can only pitch two or three innings as a starter right now?  That’s better than Snacks Pontoon, isn’t it?  It’s not like this team has any possible chance of making the postseason…
