All of these. And all of you.
Good one J.
I made a great drink tonight. 3 oz. espresso,1 oz sambucca, 1 oz. baileys, 1 oz. of this cool italiano stuff called cioccolato. I’m kind of banged up, yet awake.
I’m calling it the Musso’haralinni.
Best of holiday stuff and all.
BTW newegg has some great black friday deals. Check it out. I did. Blu ray players for 80 uncle bucks, have mercy!
Thanks be to Mo. What a great year.
In the spirit of [2] and [6], above, can somebody who knows more mark-up language than I do ([snark]for example, the author of [9], above[/snark]), insert by far the most important image of that kind?
It’s here:

What passes for reporting:
ive heard halladay-shopping jays like jesus montero of #yanks (plus hughes/joba?) and casey kelly of #redsox (plus buchholz?)
Yes, I was listening when he said “the Jays like Montero.”
Really? I’m shocked!
Heyman is very often a dope.
Are Buccholz/Kelly really equal to Montero/Joba or Hughes or is Boston just getting their usual hometown discount? That is if any of this is true.
I don’t see how Kelly can possibly be consider = to Montero, who is both much higher up in the minors, and a basically major league ready bat. At catcher. Kelly hasn’t proven anything over A ball, and even there, hasn’t exactly been “eye popping.” Right now, he’s all projection. Montero is well beyond that level…
[20] I can’t see it. Would you trade either Hughes or Joba for Buchholz? I wouldn’t. And there’s no way I’d trade Montero for Kelly. I might not trade Montero for Buchholz AND Kelly. Maybe Toronto feels differently, but this nonsense about Kelly being some great prospect seems like typical RSN propaganda. He’s pitched one season in A ball, slow down.
Is Montero’s bat really close to MLB ready? I’d like to see some more.
Regarding the trade, Buchholz is an ace right now, and Kelly is already an ace too, Red Sox just want to see if he can also stick at SS.
Keep hearing #Marlins are very willing to trade Josh Johnson right now for the right package.
Wait, isn’t Buchholz actually TWO aces ? That would make Kelly one ace, yeah about right.
Some guy I never heard of:
Given our opinions on this site of virtually everyone we have heard of, who would you possibly trust more?
I don’t see how Kelly can possibly be consider = to Montero, who is both much higher up in the minors, and a basically major league ready bat.
plus Kelley seems to be pretty mostly a pitcher, so he’s just a way bigger risk than a position player.
[27] Why do you hate aces?
According to Rosenthal:
The Jays still will offer arbitration to Scutaro, a Type A free agent; they would play him in left field and bat him leadoff if he accepted a one-year, non-guaranteed deal.
Which is good.
Well, whoever is the rotoworld writer for Sox news claims that the Jays are “looking for a Jesus Montero or Casey Kelly-like prospect in exchange for ace Roy Halladay.” he then says, “Kelly and Montero are among the top prospects in the game.”
I think this is where I get confused. I try to follow prospects pretty well and prevent my general bias from overly influencing my analysis, but I have never heard Kelly discussed in the same breath as Montero in terms of prospect status, let alone the same conversation. That’s not to say he isn’t good, but as of now, there seems an undeniably large gap between them. Montero is also younger than Kelly and far more advanced.
Additionally, Joba and Hughes are younger than Clay (Hughes by 2 years), and at least seemingly at about the same point in development.
That’s not to say I want Halladay or don’t, or care if the Sox got him for that package or not, but I would say that the Sox giving up Kelly and Buccholz and receiving Halladay doesn’t really seem like nearly the system hit that the Yankees giving up Montero and Joba/Hughes would. And that has nothing to do with the relative strength of either farm.
