With Texas losing to Oakland tonight, the Yankees have backed their way into clinching a playoff spot. Yay, I guess.

I think A-Rod gave an indication of how he will produce in the playoffs (if they pitch to him).
If they decide that Joba won’t be in the postseason rotation, given the state of the pen, they may want to begin using him as a reliever now.
I like the MLB.com standings have everyone in the AL east eliminated already… A little mixup, but not bugging me.
96 wins. That’s pretty good for a team with no starting pitchers, and a grab bag bullpen.
I like this but I think this calls for the Jim Fassell presser!
