The thing really holding Kennedy back is his lack of consistent control over a breaking ball. If he had a reliable breaking ball he could flip early in the count for easy strikes, he’d be a finished product. Right now, his arsenal is incomplete. Now Moeller in a big RBI spot. I’d give Igawa a shot, he’s on the 40-man and he strikes people out. If only he didn’t give up home runs. But at this stage i’d take his 6 ERA over Kennedy and Hughes 9+ ERA.
