Slowest Night Yet
Injuries/News:
Crickets.
AAA:
No game scheduled.
AA:
Some Roger Clemens guy pitched and struggled, he could be a couple years away. No, but seriously, I don’t think Clemens is going to that great this year, so don’t expect Houston Roger. Yankee Roger might be the most realistic expectation.
A+:
Colin Curtis was 2 for 3 with a walk, which meant he had by far the best night of any prospect in the lineup. Corona, Tabata, Miranda, and Vechionacci were a combined 1 for 15 with 3 strikeouts.
A-:
Mitch Hilligoss continued his run at Joe D by hitting in his 29th or 30th straight game. He was only 1 for 5 with a single. This was an abnormal night as 7 out of his last 10 games were of the multi-hit variety. Austin Jackson moved into the 3rd spot in the lineup and responded with a multi hit game, going 2 for 4 with a double, a strikeout, and a steal. He also threw out a runner trying to score. If Jackson hadn’t played at Charleston last year, this year would be more encouraging. Eduardo Nunez and Jose Gil were a combined 0 for 7 with a walk.
Spotlight On:
Steven Jackson tries to get things straightened out for Scranton. Jackson’s been pretty unimpressive so it would be nice if he could show something tonight.
Upcoming:
Draft Preview, hopefully this weekend.
